Per communications with TASE personnel (below), and per IEA BESTEST
TASE Modeler Report (July 1993), TASE final results use variable
convective and variable radiative heat transfer coefficients, and
variable window U-values. Therefore, the appropriate Case 600 input
deck is the file CASE.601, and so forth for the other cases.

Hello Joel.

I didn't notice any duplicates however, I will resend BESTEST.zip. I have
windows 95 and if you have windows 3.xx there may be some difficulties if
file names are too long, so I have changed the names of the files. (e.g.
old name CASE.600FF -> new name CASE60.0FF)

You asked about the difference beteween CASE.600 and CASE.601. When I
looked at the files I noticed two differences:
In CASE.601 there have been used variable radiative heat transfer
coefficients and also the thermal transmittance of a window has been
dependend on temperature. In CASE.600 radiative heat transfer coefficients
and thermal transmittance of window have been constant.
I have not been involved in the IEA BESTEST study, but I think that the
CASE.601 has been some kind of test or experiment.I am sorry if there are a
few other "test files", but I hope that however, there would be all the
files you need.

Recards

Jarmo
